Cook County State's Attorney’s Office (CCSAO)

Every month, the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office provides our team with a memo containing data for Chicago’s 19th Police District on the following:

1. The Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office’s (CCSAO) charging decisions, guilty convictions, and diversion referrals for adult felony cases in your police district and Chicago.

2. The Chicago Police Department’s criminal incident reports and arrests in your police district.

As mentioned by their office, “Open, transparent data…creates a common understanding so that we can better collectively work to reduce crime in Chicago and Cook County.”

Also of note: CCSAO only becomes involved when law enforcement presents their office with a case.
